Central Role of Educators

The cornerstone of Maple Bear’s success lies in its commitment to teachers’ development. Through continuous training and support, Maple Bear ensures that its educators are not only well-prepared but also continuously evolving. This comprehensive approach to professional development guarantees that the Maple Bear methodology is implemented effectively, providing students with a robust and enriching educational experience.

Initial Training for New Schools

Every new Maple Bear school undergoes an initial intensive training. It is conducted in English and expands for 2 weeks prior opening and 1 week after the opening. Canadian educators lead this in-school training, ensuring the authenticity and integrity of the methodology.

The goal

The goal of these training courses is to equip our teaching staff with a deep understanding of the program’s materials, methodologies, and curriculum.

Special approach

Maple Bear teachers are also trained to tailor their approach to each group of students, ensuring personalized implementation of the program’s methods.

Annual In-School Training and coaching

To maintain and enhance teaching quality, Maple Bear conducts annual in-school training sessions. These sessions are also led by Canadian educators and focus on reinforcing key curriculum elements, sharing best classroom practices, and addressing other pertinent educational topics. This regular professional development ensures that educators remain current with educational trends and continuously improve their instructional strategies.

Throughout the school year, educators participate in ongoing coaching sessions. The presence of Canadian educators in these sessions ensures that the training remains aligned with the high standards of the Maple Bear program.

These trainings are based on local school leadership requests which are received in advance for focus on certain topics and strategies, based on which the Canadian trainer prepare workshops and activities based and modelling exercises.
